The objective of establishing this network of VLSI enginners is to establish Pakistan in the ASIC/ASSP/SOC arena by

• Promoting VLSI related activities in Pakistan Universities through Coursework, Research Projects, and Training, to get trained manpower.
• Establishing design centres to provide services to the VLSI industry.
• Providing technical/entrepreneur support to engineers in Pakistan in this arena.
• Establishing research labs in Pakistan
