Arshad Riazuddin

Arshad has been working at Enabling Technologies for the past 3 years. Arshad has worked on various projects, doing RTL design, synthesis, verification, FPGA design, and FPGA emulation of the different ASIC's developed at Enabling technologies. Before joining Enabling Technologies in Pakistan, Arshad had worked at Sun Microsystems, Integerated Device Technology(IDT), Axil Computer, and Via Technologies in the San Francisco bay area. At these companies Arshad was involved in the architecture, design, synthesis, timing analysis, system level verification of different ASIC, and semi-custom IC's.

Jehanzeb Ahmad

Jehanzeb is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at Bahria University in Islamabad. Jehanzeb worked at Enabling Technologies before joing Bahria University. At Enabling Technologies Jehanzeb worked on the backend design and synthesis of a VOIP chip. Before his move to Pakistan, Jehanzeb worked at Intel's Santa Clara facility. At Intel Jehanzeb worked on the circuit design of Level-0 data Cache on the Intel Itanium 64 bit processor. While at Intel Jehanzeb also worked as board level designer for a 4 processor Itanium validation platform.

Rehan Hameed

Rehan is currently a gradaute student at Stanford University in the department of Electrical Engineering, and plan to pursue a PhD at Stanford. Before joining Stanford Rehan worked at Avaz Networks for around 3 years. At Avaz, he was involved in system level design, DSP architectures, RTL Coding and Verification. On software side Rehan was involved in Object Oriented Software Design and real-time, embedded software development.

Shafqat Ali Khan

Shafqat is currently a grauate student at Delft Institute of Microelectronics and Submicron Engineering (Tu delft), in the Netherlands. Before going for his graduate studies, Shafqat worked at Enabling Technologies for 2 years. At Enabling Technologies Shafqat worked on system and board level design. Shafqat designed many high speed, multi-layer PCB for systems designed at Enabling Technologies based on their VOIP chip. Shafqat holds a Bachelors degree from National University of Science and Technology(NUST).

Umer Salim Kiani

Umer did BSc Computer Systems Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and got a MSc Degree in Communications and Digital Signal Processing from Imperial College London. Umer worked in Enabling Technologies Pakistan office for one and a half years. During his stay at Enabling Technolgies he worked on the design and implementation (in verilog) of a processor local bus for NEC. Apart from that he worked on Design, implementation and systhesis of verilog code for FPGAs. Currently Umer has been working for Philips Semiconductors for more than a year now. In Philips Umer has designed, implemented, synthesized, programmed and then verified an FPGA design that is used for high speed functional verification of a DVD+RW IC being designed at PHILIPS. Currently he is working on Block integration and testability issues at the IC level.
